Ano Liosia 21/09/2018 - The European Commission funded ERASMUS+ KA2 project CareV.E.T.: Innovative training approach for Supportive Living Operators (2016-1-EL01-KA202-023612) held its last dissemination event in the 21 September 2018. The event was hosted in the conference hall of the partner member Association of parents and guardians of people with intellectual disabilities “To Ergastiri”.

Oral Presentation of CareVET by Annalies Baumeister (from partner FRANKFURT UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES) in the 5th IASSIDD Europe Congress in Athens, Greece, July 18-20, 2018. The Congress had as theme “Diversity & Belonging”. This theme is a celebration of human diversity, within spaces and places where we feel ‘at home’.

The project CareV.E.T. – An innovative training approach for Supportive Living Operators: relational and therapeutic techniques and use of technological solutions, a combination of winning elements to make the work of professionals that operate in assisted environments more effective and at the same time to improve the well-being of people with disabilities in terms of self-esteem and autonomy.

Five employees from partner ERGASTIRI and five from partner TANDEM, visited partner Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences and received training in assistive  technologies, the CareV.E.T toolkit, role playing and self-advocacy for people with Intellectual Disabilities
