Ano Liosia 21/09/2018 - The European Commission funded ERASMUS+ KA2 project CareV.E.T.: Innovative training approach for Supportive Living Operators (2016-1-EL01-KA202-023612) held its last dissemination event in the 21 September 2018. The event was hosted in the conference hall of the partner member Association of parents and guardians of people with intellectual disabilities “To Ergastiri”.
During the event, expert speakers and project team members shared with the general public, professionals, policy makers and stakeholders the results of the project and discussed about CareV.E.T. legacy, the lessons learned from the project and future plans.
Representatives of the project partners’ had the opportunity to present and discuss the training curriculum, tool kits, the training results of the project and the expected impact of the project on the field of supported living.
As part of the partnership’s efforts to improve the overall quality of life of the Supported Living Residents, CareVET curriculum is designed to address the latest’s technological advancements in the assisted living domain, as well as role playing, social networks building around people with disabilities, and self-advocacy skills that can be utilized by the supportive living operators(SLOs) to improve the beneficiaries’ wellbeing.
